Preliminary human findings
A short phase 2 study in people with type 2 diabetes and painful neuropathy reported improvements in neuropathic-symptom scores and metabolic measurements with ARA-290. The authors called for continued clinical evaluation. This preliminary evidence does not establish a proven general nerve-repair or pain-treatment benefit.
