What is NAD+?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a cellular coenzyme involved in oxidation–reduction reactions and enzyme-mediated signalling. It is not a peptide. It is used in biochemical research on metabolism and cofactor-dependent enzymes.

Published study findings and evidence limits
Human pilot findings — no established wellness benefit
A small human pilot study measured changes in blood and urine NAD-related metabolites during an NAD+ infusion. It did not establish anti-ageing, increased energy, improved cognition or addiction-treatment benefits. Findings from NAD precursors such as nicotinamide riboside cannot automatically be assigned to NAD+ itself.
